Mid-century Modern Restoration

Mid Century Modern Restoration

Mid-century modern restoration focuses on preserving and reviving furniture from the 1940s–1970s while maintaining the clean lines, craftsmanship, and natural beauty that define the style. Rather than replacing character, restoration carefully repairs, refinishes, and refreshes original pieces to bring them back to life.

Typical work includes veneer repairs, refinishing teak and walnut surfaces, restoring joints and frames, and protecting the original design details that make each piece unique. The aim is to retain authenticity while ensuring the furniture is both functional and beautiful for modern living.

By restoring vintage furniture instead of replacing it, mid-century restoration also offers a more sustainable approach to interiors — giving timeless pieces a second life for future generations.

G Plan Tables

This nest of 3 G Plan tables were stripped, sanded and re-oiled to bring them back to life. The smallest one then had an art deco design stained onto it.
